Morning Mid-Day Evening

My project was a 2.8kW solar installation for a residential setting outside of Douglas, Wyoming. Gene and Deb were phenomenal on this project. They were professional in the design, implementation and completion of the project. They always took the time to answer even the simplest of questions! Range Solar & Wind completed my project on schedule, and were very professional and service oriented and kept the job site neat, clean and clutter free."

About Us

Gene and Deb Theriault (pronounced “theory-awlt”) established Range Solar & Wind, LLC in March 2007, so Gene could pursue his passion for renewable energy.

We have been successful business owners in Casper, Wyoming, since 1978, when we opened CRS Business Products, selling copiers, fax machines, cash registers and video security systems. CRS earned several major accounts as the result of strong ethics, superior products, and excellent service and support.

After the sale of CRS to Ricoh Corporation in 1994, we owned two small manufacturing companies, which we subsequently sold, so we could devote all our energy to Range Solar & Wind. There has been so much interest from Wyoming people in our wind and solar products that we are working from before sunrise until after dark—and LOVING IT!

Range Solar & Wind, LLC is the first renewable energy company on the plains of central Wyoming. We know the laws of the jurisdictions in which we work, and we helped shape regulations for small wind turbines in Casper and Natrona County. We have selected premier products and realistically represent their capabilities to ensure that our customers’ expectations are met or exceeded.

Public Presentations

We have given many public presentations about renewable energy – in Casper, Buffalo, Rawlins and Centennial. We also speak to civic groups, such as Rotary, Lions and Kiwanis Clubs. Just contact us if you have a group you would like us to talk to, formal or informal, about wind or solar electricity or solar hot water. We welcome the opportunity to educate and share our excitement!

Community Involvement

We believe in giving back to our community. We are active members of the Rotary Club of Casper, the Izaak Walton League, and Wyoming Fly Casters. We have also had leadership positions in the United Way of Natrona County.

Just for Fun

In the “just for fun” department, we are members of Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing and both race vintage cars. Deb plays tennis, knits, sings in her church choir, and is deeply immersed in Rotary’s international youth exchange program; Gene is a driver in Rotary community projects and Duck Derby, enjoys fly fishing and pheasant hunting, which he hasn’t had much chance to indulge in lately.

Motto to Live By

We live our lives and make business decisions based on the Rotary International Four-Way Test:

“Of the things we think, say or do:

1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to All Concerned?
3. Will it Build Good Will and Better Friendships?
4. Will it Be Beneficial to All Concerned?
